Animosity Toward Inactive Ones

aren't they supposed to want to help them and encourage them?.
i know of a young woman,i've known forever,who married a non-witness,and hasn't been to the meetings for awhile.

Let's see, I was an elder once and that was more than enough. I think I would still be trapped if I hadn't been an elder. I saw the real underpinnings of the organization and it helped free me. If you want to see the reality of "The Truth" become and elder once.

Because I don't like slick hucksters and religious fanatics only makes me at unity with those of like mind. It's not a pack mentality to dislike the same things. Rick is obnoxious, unlikable and I don't care if Jesus says I have to love him. A jerk is a jerk and a disturber is a disturber. If you get some special warm fuzzy feeling by "loving" him more power to you. I used to do that as a witness, I loved all the ahole's because Jehovah said to do so and wait on him. I'm not waiting any longer, I'm using my brain and making my own choices. Rick is counterproductive.

How Did You View The Elders?

they needed their approval and wanted to be well spoken of by them.. i know some who can't stand elders and regard them as pests, always looking for some dirt on somebody.. i know some who liked maybe one or two but regarded the majority as unqualified.. how did you view the elders??

Read from Revelation book about Knorr and Franz taking a World Circling Tour read as "In the 1950's brothers Franz and Knorr embarked on a World Cycling Tour".
Same book, "The angel descended with the key to a piss in his hand".
We were told that Moses was given instructions on how to build the "Table Knacker".
During Bible Highlights a brother said: "And Mosey came down from the mountain."
Organizing a car group for service the elderly brother sought a volunteer to fill the last spot in a car full of sisters, he said; "I need a single sister who is loose to join this group".

The Walking Wounded Interviews - available soon in DVD format
by Lady Lee ina few people know that dr. penton, grace/mouthy and i participated in a series of interviews about the jws.
the producer/director of the vhs videos, james kohl, has been working to update the videos and release the series in dvd format.. i am thrilled the videos will be soon available.
kohl had done a few other interviews but they were never released.

I misread the thread title. I thought it said: "The Walking Dead Interviews - available soon in DVD format. Heck, I would have thought they were online already. I guess the real title is more appropriate, though many JW's seem like the Walking Dead.
